Liturgical Ministry

Liturgical ministries are focused on planning and implementing the various liturgies, sacraments and prayer opportunities in the parish to enhance
participants’ faith experiences.  If you are interested in becoming part of a ministry, please contact Father John.

Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers
Parishioners who are Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers distribute Eucharist during the Communion Rite at our weekly Liturgies, alongside Father John P. Rosson.   Many also bring Eucharist to the home or hospital bound.

Our dedicated Eucharistic Ministers of the homebound, hospital and nursing homes include:
communion for the homebound logoLinda Franck, Dr. Philip Heavner. Lois Holz, Joan Hopkins,  Paul & Mary Kuhn, Carole Lachance, Barbara Lambert, Elizabeth Maloney, Jean & Louis Nicholson, Fran Raeder, Suzanne Rudy, Connie Velez, and Jeff Woeppel.

If you , your family member, or someone you know who is in the community, would like to request a home visit, please contact the parish office at (607) 547-2213.

Parishioners act as greeters and welcome fellow parishioners at the Church entrance and guide them with seating, financial collection and presentation of the Eucharist at Sunday and Holy Day Liturgies.

Lectors proclaim the Word of God at Liturgy.

Servers assist the Presider at Liturgy.  Parishioners in grades 5 and above are welcome.  Please contact Ivy Bishof  if you know someone interested in becoming an Altar Server
